La scuola Copernico aderisce a READ MORE
Al via il progetto Read More
Quest'anno la scuola secondaria Copernico partecipa al progetto READ MORE.
Si tratta di un progetto promosso da Festivaletteratura che consiste nel dedicare 20 minuti al giorno per tutto l'anno alla lettura libera.
L'lobiettivo è quello di promuovere l'abitudine alla lettura attraverso un'attività piacevole e priva di obblighi o giudizi.
Secondo una ricerca INDIRE (Istituto Nazionale di Documentazione Innovazione e Ricerca Educativa), le scuole che hanno partecipato al progetto hanno notato diversi benefici sui loro studenti:
- aumento del tempo dedicato alla lettura nei momenti liberi
- ampliamento dei generi letterari preferiti dagli alunni
- miglioramento del clima in classe
- miglioramento del rapporto con gli insegnanti
- inclusione degli alunni con Bisogni Educativi Speciali
Nelle scorse settimane i nostri studenti hanno visitato la biblioteca di quartiere e hanno costruito la propria biblitoeca di classe.

The “Read More” project is underway
This year, Copernico Middle School is participating in the READ MORE project.
This project, sponsored by Festivaletteratura, involves setting aside 20 minutes a day throughout the year for free reading.
The goal is to foster a habit of reading through an enjoyable activity free from obligations or judgment.
According to research by INDIRE (National Institute for Documentation, Innovation, and Educational Research), schools that participated in the project observed several benefits for their students:
- an increase in the time spent reading during free time
- a broadening of the literary genres preferred by students
- an improvement in the classroom atmosphere
- an improvement in relationships with teachers
- the inclusion of students with Special Educational Needs
In recent weeks, our students visited the neighborhood library and set up their own classroom library.
Now all that’s left to do is reading!
